Pistorius selected by AIST to receive F. Elliott Lectureship Award

MSE’s Chris Pistorius has been selected by the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) to receive the 2016 F. Elliott Lectureship Award. Pistorius will receive the award at the AIST President’s Award Breakfast at AISTech 2016, the 13th annual Iron & Steel Technology Conference and Exposition and the largest annual technology forum for the global steel industry.

The main objective of this award is to acquaint students and engineers with the exciting opportunities in chemical process metallurgy, and to inspire them to pursue careers in this field. Chris will receive funds to present lectures at other academic institutions in the coming year.
